Cheshire Ecology Ltd. is based in Tattenhall, near Chester. The company is managed by Dr Martin Page, a highly qualified ecologist with eleven years of ecological experience and fifteen years of commercial experience.

Many planning applications will require an ecological survey before they can be submitted. The first survey is usually an 'Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey' or the more comprehensive 'Preliminary Ecological Appraisal'. These are standard procedures that describe the different habitats that are present and highlight any protected species that may be a constraint to development. Depending upon our findings we may recommend additional surveys.

Our ecologists are all members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and are fully insured.

Our company is based in Cheshire and regularly undertakes work in Wales, Stoke-on-Trent, Liverpool, Manchester, Shropshire, Birmingham and the West Midlands. Depending upon the size of the project, botanical surveys are carried out throughout the British Isles.

Cheshire Ecology Ltd. is based near Nantwich and carries out ecological surveys throughout the British Isles. We offer high quality work at competitive prices. Please telephone or e-mail us for a fee proposal.

Cheshire Ecology Ltd. is based in Stapeley, near Nantwich. The company has been established for eleven years and has built up a good reputation for high quality work at competitive prices. We work with a number of highly qualified and experienced associates, who can offer skills normally associated with larger consultancies.

Most of our work involves protected species, such as great crested newts, badgers and bats, but we also undertake BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments and provide experienced ecologists for site supervision.

Our company specialises in botanical surveys. This includes surveys for invasive plants, such as Japanese knotweed and hedgerow surveys. We have been involved in several large NVC surveys during the last five years, including windfarms, electricity transmission lines and solar farms. The company is owned by Dr Martin Page, who was one of the contributors to the original NVC survey and was a member of the 2007 Countryside Survey. Martin has written several garden books and has contributed to a number of gardening encyclopedias. Please click here for a copy of our publicity leaflet.Download
